Precision Hemispheres Lens Manufactured Ruby Half Ball Sapphire Ball Lenses
Sapphire is one of the hardest materials known. Its quality is stable and commercially affordable.
Its hardness is 2300 HV, which is much harder than most known hard materials (such as ceramics, etc.). Saphire raw materials produce single crystals in the factory by melting ultrapure Al2O3 at a temperature higher than 2000 ℃. This hard material can be polished to a very good surface finish.

Including precision sapphire or ruby half ball lens, corundum sapphire Ruby material is a hard material that can withstand thermal shock and environmental shock, high wear resistance and chemical compatibility. We offer sapphire and ruby balls in various sizes with diameters as low as 0.15mm. The sphericity tolerance of sapphire and ruby balls is 0.625 μ m and the diameter tolerance is ± 2.5 μ M.

Feature for precision sapphire half ball
-Ideal for harsh environments
-High strength and hardness
-High chemical stability
-Sapphire and Ruby hemispherical lenses are also available

Typical applications: optical fiber connector, flowmeter, rotameter, bar code reader, wear application
