Yb: CaF2 Laser Crystal
Yb: CaF2 is a new laser crystal formed by doping Yb into CaF2. The main emission peaks are 1033 nm and 1050 nm respectively, and the emission linewidth is 70 nm. Because there are no undesired loss transitions such as upconversion, excited-state absorption, and concentration quenching, they have small quantum defects, long fluorescence lifetime, high thermal conductivity, and wide emission line. Ytterbium-doped CaF2 is the preferred material for high-power diode pumping systems. The laser amplifier with high light-to-light conversion efficiency is semiconductor pumped femtosecond (FS) One of the important potential applications of lasers and amplifiers. In addition, from the current point of view, the crystal growth technology of Yb: CaF2 is scalable, which makes it possible to produce high-quality optical materials.
Features:
• Low quantum defect,Long fluorescence lifetime;
• Wide optical transmission range, from 0.12um to 10μm;
• Low dispersion behavior;
• Limited nonlinear effects under intense laser irradiation;
• Customized coatings are available.
