 Cr4 +: YAG Laser Crystal
Chromium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Cr4 +: YAG) is an excellent material for neodymium yttrium aluminum garnet, neodymium-doped YLF, neodymium-doped yttrium vanadate, and other wavelengths ranging from 0.8 to 1.2 μ M crystal of passive Q-switched Nd or ytterbium-doped laser. Sufficient laser pulses can be obtained without electro-optic switch through passive Q-switch or saturated absorber, so the size is reduced and the need to supply high-voltage energy is eliminated. It will replace the commonly used LIF and dyes in the field of passive Q-switch and become an excellent choice for 1um Nd-doped laser.

Advantages of Cr4 +: YAG Crystal
High light damage threshold
It is more stable and durable than dyes and color center saturable absorbers
In some cases, it can replace the electro-optic Q-switch to output high-power laser pulses
