Nonlinear Crystal KTA Crystal

Potassium titanyl arsenate (KTiOAsO4), potassium titanate arsenate is an excellent nonlinear optical crystal for optical parametric oscillation (OPO). KTA is very reliable for OPO equipment. The tunable laser radiation energy conversion efficiency of solid-state laser can reach more than 50%. In addition, KTA has a very high damage threshold. Compared with KTP, KTA crystal has greater nonlinear optical and electro-optic coefficients and less absorption in the 3.0-4.0um band.

Basic characteristics:
1. Large nonlinear optical coefficient and large electro-optic coefficient
2. Wide receiving angle and small departure angle
3. It has a wide temperature and spectral range
4. Low dielectric constant and ionic conductivity (much less than that of KTP)
5. High damage threshold
6. 3.0-4.0um band has less absorption
7. Can withstand higher power density
